Root Labs is Colby Nelsen — a web developer based in Newberg, Oregon. It grew out of a simple idea: small businesses deserve the same craft, speed, and polish that big companies pay agencies a fortune for.
I run it as a studio of one, on purpose. You work directly with the person building your site — no account managers, no handoffs, no junior dev learning on your budget. That means faster decisions, tighter quality, and someone who actually cares whether the thing converts.
The work spans three things that tend to go together: fast, credible websites; AI automations that remove busywork; and lead-generation systems that keep a pipeline full.
